Brötchen from a local Bavarian bakery, meats from a German butcher, boiled eggs to your liking, and our own coffee blend from Leavenworth Coffee Roasters. Every morning, at no extra charge.
The person who checked you in is often the one pouring your coffee. If you want a trail recommendation or a restaurant that's actually worth it, this is a good time to ask.

A 1910 Catholic church, moved here by flatbed truck in 1992. Original vaulted ceilings, carved walnut furniture, a choir loft above. One of very few places in the world where you can sleep in a church.

Bauernmöbel is the painted, carved farmhouse furniture of Bavaria and Tirol. Most of ours comes from furniture makers in Bavaria who specialize in it. A few pieces are true antiques, including painted chests dating back to 1742.

926 Commercial Street is right behind Front Street and a short walk from Waterfront Park. Every shop, restaurant, and the Festhalle within easy reach. You park when you arrive and don't move your car until you leave.

"Pension Anna is like a good red wine. It just gets better with age. The history, the old world, the way it was done. You don't remodel history. It just ages and gets more unique."
In May 2018 we became the third owners of Pension Anna, and the first born in Europe. Anne and Bob Smith, who built the hotel in 1989, generously shared what they'd learned, and we've traveled to Bavaria and Tirol every year since. Something nearly always comes home with us for one of the rooms.
We met in Seattle, got married in the snow by Icicle Creek, and made Leavenworth home. We've kept what made Pension Anna worth keeping, and in 2025 we opened Landhaus Erika across the street. When you stay with us, there's a good chance you'll meet us.
