Bavarian Breakfast
A full sit-down breakfast every morning in the Pension Anna Stube. Brötchen from a local German master baker, German butcher meats from Wisconsin, house-roasted coffee, soft-boiled eggs, cheeses, fresh fruit, and more. All guests eat here together — Pension Anna, Landhaus Erika, and Alte Kapelle.

One guaranteed spot per room, on-site. Leavenworth has no shortage of parking headaches in peak season. Yours is taken care of. The hotel is one block from Front Street, so you park once and walk everywhere for your entire stay.

Built to Fit
the Furniture
The carved pine Bauernmöbel beds in most Pension Anna rooms are genuine antiques imported from Bavaria and Tirol. They are also about two inches narrower than a US king. No standard mattress fits them properly.
Rather than compromise the room with an ill-fitting mattress, we had them built from scratch. The result is a medium-firm mattress with 2 inches of 100% natural Dunlop latex at the core, up to 1,283 individually wrapped coils, and a Quantum Edge perimeter for support to the very edge.
The latex is Oeko-Tex certified at Level 1 — the highest standard, safe even for infant products. No chemical memory foam. The padding is CertiPUR-US certified. It sleeps cool and holds its shape.

Pillow Top
The Ottman Suite, both Alte Kapelle rooms, and all five Landhaus Erika suites have Stearns & Foster 14.5-inch Pillow Top mattresses. TENCEL Lyocell fabric wicks moisture. IntelliCoil support system. Precision Edge perimeter venting.
Stearns & Foster is one of the few mattress brands guests recognize and seek out by name. If you have slept on one before, you know what to expect.

Not every room has everything. Here is what becomes available as you move through the property.
Jacuzzi Tubs
Three rooms have Jacuzzi tubs: Herzog Suite, Ottman Suite, and the Alte Kapelle Suite, where the tub sits open-plan at the base of the carved wood staircase. All three also have showers. For in-room hydrotherapy tubs at Landhaus Erika, see the Landhaus section below.
Rooms with a standard tub and shower: Pinzgau, Stubaital, Lechtal, Alpbachtal, and Pfaffenwinkl. Shower only: the five balcony rooms, Brixental, Loisachtal, Inntal, and Solstice Suite.
Gas Fireplaces
Select rooms at Pension Anna have gas fireplaces. At Landhaus Erika, four of five suites have a gas fireplace — Solstice Suite has an electric fireplace. Room descriptions note which type. No wood-burning fireplaces on property.
Private Balconies
Five rooms at Pension Anna have private balconies. The Herzog Suite deck has direct views of the Enchantment mountain range with lounge seating. The other four balcony rooms have private outdoor space with views of the property and surrounding village.
Private Entrances
Alpbachtal and Inntal have private exterior doors with no shared hallways and no stairs. A good option if you prefer coming and going independently.
Plush Robes
Robes are provided in all suite-category rooms at both Pension Anna and Landhaus Erika.
Heated Tile Floors
Select rooms have heated tile floors in the bathroom. Listed in individual room descriptions where applicable.
1910 Chapel Ceilings
The two Alte Kapelle rooms occupy a genuine 1910 Catholic church relocated to the property in 1992. Vaulted ceilings, Gothic arched windows, and original timber framing. Same standard amenities as Pension Anna, with a very different feel underfoot and overhead.
Antique Alpine Furniture
Most Pension Anna rooms are furnished with genuine Bauernmöbel pieces sourced from Bavaria and Tirol. Each piece has a documented history. The Furniture & Antiques page has the full story.
A Separate Chalet.
Its Own Quiet.
Landhaus Erika is a Tirolean chalet across from Pension Anna. Five adults-only suites designed with modern upscale furniture, cultural touches from Tirol, and large-format photography of the region taken by Martin Szuster and Bob Smith, who founded Pension Anna in 1989. Bavarian breakfast is included and served at Pension Anna each morning.

We text you on the morning of your arrival. If your room is ready earlier, we will get you in sooner.
Breakfast runs through the morning, so there is no reason to rush out before you have eaten.

Yes. Landhaus Erika guests have access to a private infrared sauna and steam room, available on a first-come, first-served basis with no reservations needed. Access is exclusive to Landhaus guests. Four of the five suites (Spring, Summer, Autumn, and Winter) also have in-room hydrotherapy tubs.
No. The infrared sauna and steam room are exclusive to Landhaus Erika guests. If sauna access matters to you, book one of the five Landhaus suites.
Check-in is at 3:00 PM. We send a text on the morning of your arrival, so if your room is ready earlier it is easy to coordinate. Check-out is at 11:00 AM.

Yes. Complimentary on-site parking is included with every stay, one guaranteed spot per room. During peak weekends in Leavenworth, street parking can be genuinely difficult to find. Yours is sorted before you arrive.
